At Tzagournis Family and Cosmetic Dentistry we're proud to be a part of this active and thriving community. In addition to providing exceptional dentistry it is our mission to give back to the community that keeps us strong, and to provide care where it's needed most.
In this section you will find information about some of the events that we have sponsored and/or participated in. We look forward to continuing our tradition of caring outreach, and we'd like to thank everyone involved in these activities for making them a great success.
Run 4 the Health of It
On Labor Day of 2010, Dr. Tzagournis supported the local "Run 4 the Health of It" event. He donated free ZOOM teeth whitening for raffle, offered discounts for new patients and had a sponsor booth that offered face to face conversation with the community and free gift bags. Dr. Tzagournis' wife, Cindy, and three children, Olivia, Manny and Herb, also participated in the run.

Dentistry from the Heart 2010
We are proud to have donated our time and services participating in this year's Dentistry from the Heart event in our community. Dentistry from the Heart (DFTH) is a national non-profit organization dedicated to providing free dental care to those who need it. Every year, individual dentists and practices across the country donate their time and resources to host their own DFTH events. This is without a doubt an extraordinary opportunity, and one of the many ways that we can say "thank you" to all of the great people in our community.

Mexico - July 2010
In July, 2010 our dental assistant, Nicole Sakellariou, and several part time associates spent a week donating their time to organize a dental clinic and treat over 250 patients at a small village in Mexico. Dr. Tzagournis kindly donated many of the supplies and equipment used during this mission trip.
Plans are under way to support and attend again next year, with the hopes of obtaining enough equipment to establish a permanent facility where dental healthcare professionals can alternate/stagger visits to bring needed dental care to that area.

For over ten years, Dr. Tzagournis has been a participating provider with Dental Options - Ohio Partnership To Improve Oral health through access to Needed
Services). Dental Options links patients with dentists and/or dental clinics where patients can receive care at reduced fees or free of charge, ultimately improving access to dental care for Ohio's poor, working poor, low-income seniors, and persons who are medically, mentally or physically challenged.
