Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
Growing up, Dr. Tzagournis had many family members in the dental field, so he was always interested in what his dentist was doing during his visits. In the 7th grade, he even wrote a paper about wanting to become a dentist, and the school kept it and returned it to him his senior year! Needless to say, he hadn’t changed his mind, and he has been happy with his decision ever since.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Tzagournis earned a BS in dental hygiene as well as his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from The Ohio State University. Today, he is dedicated to furthering his education through participation in advanced hands-on courses, lectures, and self-study. He is also a member of the American Dental Association, the Ohio Dental Association, and the Columbus Dental Association.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Dr. Tzagournis and his wife, Cindy, have three children, Olivia, Manny, and Herb that take up most of their free time. He is also an avid golfer, hiker, and snow skier. To relax, nothing beats sitting down to watch some Buckeye football!
